The morning darkness was spiced with cold. I'm not certain what the cold air means to most people in Florida. Possibly the remembrance of sitting in front of a fire and holding hands with the person they wish to remain warm with. For someone else it is memories of a dog curled under the blankets with you while you dream of holidays past and approaching. For me it means it's time to collect iguanas! As the weather cools the iguanas slow down and you can pluck them from the trees and place them in boxes where they will remain docile until they warm up again. Then, I like to mail them to my long list of enemies. The kid that hogged the see-saw during recess 45 years ago? He's getting a surprise iguana. My French teacher from middle school that told my parents I was incapable of learning French? Surprise Iguana. (She's probably pretty old by now, but I don't discriminate.) The executive at Dunkin Donuts that decided the coffee needed to be weaker than watered down water? Iguana. Be careful sophomores. I have lot's of boxes.
Today fifth period wandered in and immediately were disgruntled. In fact I don't remember a time they were ever "gruntled". We played several history games and I awarded many points. I also rewarded the winners by immortalizing them on fruit. Here is a picture of two of the winners. I think it's probably pretty obvious who they are.

Sixth period gave presentations, however I changed the slides without them knowing it, leaving them to explain awkward information in front of the class, complete with pictures. Since most of the presentations seemed to be lifted straight from the internet, and only a few had sources I'm not sure if anyone noticed the extra slides.
After that I sort of went into a type of hibernation I've developed for stress reactions, so the rest of the day is really just a dark spot on my internal timeline.
Oh, and thank you for the anonymous "Gobble Gram". It was exactly as awkward as I'm sure it was intended.

Have a great break Mr. P!
