A personal message for my Cambridge victims. I know you will study hard for the test. So first for my seventh period, Global MUN:

I wanted to let each of you know exactly how you have created new seedlings in the forest that is my life.

Pablo. You are like the son I never wanted, but now that you are here you aren't that bad. You could probably be better, but I'm used to disappointment. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Isabella. I met you in study hall last year where you beat me in a break dance contest. I'm glad you decided to be in the class. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Sofia. Some day I look forward to reading your homework. In the meantime I appreciate you keeping the others at your table in line. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Fatima if we were all to be judged by the power we wield, many would come up short. However I believe your reign of terror over the senior class next year will eventually be known as the senior class's golden age. Rule without mercy. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Christian. I know you don't really hang around with a great crowd. Still, you have avoided the gangs and violence that lurks in your corner of the class. I respect you for that. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Valentina. You came to me a refugee from Seiler. I realize you probably regret that, but I am personally glad you are here. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Rocio. I want to thank you for taking care of "my money problem". I needed to get someone else's finger prints on it. I appreciate what you've done for me and also for being such a genuinely decent person. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Nicole. I have spent a long part of my year sharing a desk with you. You are always welcome. You are one of the few people in the class I would not be willing to fight. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Maria G. You are part of the proof that you can never have too many Marias. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Daniela. I'm glad you came with us to our Model UN events. I respect your bravery. Someday I hope you make a reliable friend in class. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Sara. Although we have always been natural enemies, I think we understand each other. The way a lion and a baboon understand each other. When I break my sugar fast, I promise to gorge myself at Jeremiah's. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Rael. I hope I someday get to see you run for office. I probably won't vote for you, but I will still be proud. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Fiorella. Your quiet kindness is a gift. Thank you for coming with us to our Model UN competitions, and for bringing some decency to your corner the room. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Javier. Sometimes I startle myself awake in the middle of the night and expect to find you standing there, ready to ask me a question about something that was already explained. I respect your dedication to perfection and your devotion to lunch. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Cristina. I know how difficult it must be working in the conditions you find yourself in. However, like a mammal amongst reptiles you have evolved. I know you will continue to do great things. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Paula. Kindness is a form of courage. Remember that. I will remember your kindness and strength. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Niranjan. I know the temptation to skip class must have been daunting for you. It was your Everest. And in the end like Sir Edmund Hillary, you summitted that challenge and I respect you for that. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Marcos. Thank you for being in class to help me work on my classroom management skills. Your dedication to making me a better person will never not be appreciated. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Laura. From study hall to global you have been there like a haunting presence. We have spent a lot of time just talking about stuff that wasn't global. I really like not talking about global, so thank you. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Martina. Although you may have stalked me at Town Center, and I get the feeling you think I'm lying to you about how to prepare your work, I still think you are one of the most competent people I know. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Marcel. You are one of three Marcel's I am aware of. One is a TV monkey, one is a French mime and the other is you. As the latest incarnation of Marcels I would say you are my favorite. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Juan. Although you are still in middle school, I know someday you will be a fine human being adult. I know you will be successful when it matters. I'm glad to have had you in class. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Candelaria. Remember you are just one student away from the Presidency. I'm sure that is fine with you. Thank you for making all of my classes with you more exciting. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Eugenia. I have never really been able to pronounce your name. It's not just you, it's all Eugenias. Nevertheless you have made an impression. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Maria JVC. You are a person of few words but many last names. I respect your kindness, and it has never gone unnoticed. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Kateri. We have lived lifetimes waiting for this moment. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

And now for my third period Global FBI program:

Nicholas. Never listen to the haters. The saxophone (especially the really big one) is probably one of the most delicate instruments invented. Only the most decent people get to play it. Make the most of your hair! Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Nathaniel. Your quiet intellect has never ceased to impress me. I also believe you live in the hall across from my class because you are always there before the last class has even fully left. That's ok. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Natalia. Although it was hard to get a word in with you, and your constant talking, I want you to know you were seen. I hope you learned some things. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Ethan. Although you were unmercifully bullied at your table, you handled yourself well. I was always rooting for you. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Rafael. I will not forget that you beat me at Geoguessr. In some ways I respect that, but in others there is a deep sense of revenge building. However I am glad to have met you. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Sarojini. I respect how you have never corrected the way I pronounce your name. I have settled on two versions and I interchange them. At least one, or maybe both are wrong. However you have left me my dignity. If I ever see you looking bored at the Weston Library again, perhaps I'll say hello. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Bobae. What an enigma. From your bizarre food preferences to your selective narcolepsy you have made quite the impression. You get things done. Not necessarily classwork, but things, and some of those things are important. Respect. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Ingrid. I realize it must be difficult working in the environment you find yourself in at school. More precisely this class. You have remained dignified nonetheless. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Megan. If we are going to have child soldiers, then I am glad you are out there protecting us. I sleep better at night knowing you are keeping watch. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Julia. A Julia is also a type of butterfly. It is my favorite type. Everyone should have a favorite butterfly. You should not have a favorite student though. That would be wrong. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Emily. As the elder in the classroom I feel as if we are some how both disgusted and amused by the actions of the others. It's good to have a kindred spirit in class. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Logan. Nothing I say will be good enough for you, but I want you to know your work ethic may be the most impressive one I have ever seen. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Valeria. You have earned every honor. Some day, if you are out there fighting crime, I know I can finally leave my doors unlocked. You've got this. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Stone. Somehow you seem too focused and yet distracted at the same time. That is really an impressive skill. Keep building empires. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Ruhan. Your lack of urgency and brilliant results when working always impresses me. Also, now you have a suit. So you have that going for you as well. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Roxan. Thank you for all the close calls. Always keeping me intellectually on my toes. I'm sorry you miss class so much because it is better when you are there. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Valentina. You manage to make impatience seem elegant. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Rithiha. Sometimes I feel like I could just fade from the class and you could take over and everyone would be ok with that. You have skills. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Lily. The class without you would be like a dog without fur. It would still be a dog, it just wouldn't be as pleasant. I guess. Whatever, I'm glad you are here keeping the class quietly dignified. (Considering what I'm working with.) Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

Jasmine. Just like everyone should have a favorite butterfly, we should also have a favorite flower. Mine is a tie between water lilies and jasmine. I'm glad you finally ended your world tour and returned to us, our prodigal student. Someday maybe I'll see you on a train somewhere. Remember, you have always been my favorite student.

I believe in all of you. Make me proud. (prouder)
