Each morning the blue jays gather outside my windows and call out to each other in blue jay language. I have little idea what they are saying, but I imagine they are taking some sort of blue jay Cambridge class (AICE Preening or something) and the one, old and sad looking blue jay that is being screamed at the most is probably the instructor. Why do I bring this up? No reason really.

One of my students asked me why she was never mentioned in my blog. The truth is I will never allude to her in any way. She will remain an anonymous fixture in the corner, reading sad American plays, written by sad American playwrights that probably started out writing sad blogs about kids they would never mention. It's a circle I hope. I should mention Eugene O' Neill is known as the father of "Dark Tragedy". I am simply it's godson.

Today I took my kids to the behavior assembly. I suppose they learned about all of the rules that they weren't breaking yet, and now they have new aspirations. The children are on a fast electric scooter to Saturday school, and the behavior specialists are keeping tally with what is barely disguised glee. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Ironically...I was called out by name for attempting to leave the second I was told "teachers can leave". I suppose what they meant to say was "teachers can leave after this one annoying request." I embrace my rebellious nature! You never read about anyone that got themselves into the history books by being consistently mediocre and well behaved.
